| View in browser July 17, 2024     Dear Community Partner,   New York State has announced the 2023-24 HEAP Cooling Assistance and Emergency benefit closes on Friday, July 19, 2024. All applications submitted online, or postmarked and received on or before the deadline will be processed. Households are encouraged to submit a HEAP application prior to this Friday’s deadline.   To help New Yorkers find relief from the heat, New York City cooling centers will be open throughout the five boroughs during heat emergencies.
